I resetted once only. They did not definately give me 100% back. If it helps I resetted the calendula level 48 mod soul, because I decided I wanted to go for goku/kenpachi instead. Overall consumed a good amount of gold and I regretted what I did.
I can also say when I leveled back the calendula, it started at level one. I believe it might depend on how many levels the current mod soul have and how much levels you reset.

I had to reset 4 mod souls for around 1k gold at all.
Sakuragi Lv. 80 --> Batman Lv. 80
Calendula Lv. 53 --> Goku Lv. 60
Druid Lv. 40 --> Druid Lv 30
Carribean Lv. 30 --> Spiderman Lv. 40
With the rest i had enough left to get Gin to Lv. 18, so i am quite sure, that gold reset gives 100% back.
So Gin is better than Iron Man coz MDef > PDef to avoid initial Oneshot and even cheaper.

It definitely gives 100% now, a few of us have done it.
Can't guarantee it will always give 100%, but at the moment it does.

Did you account for PVE defense with Ryoka that is needed with physical for the 3 2 0 or 2 3 0 formations? People will never hit wave 70 without enough physical defense. I had to add +12 hp stones just to survive after wave 69.

I always thought Ryoka is kido dmg. But no idea, coz i nearly never do Ryoka in the middle of the night.

Honestly you could be correct. I just seen the animation on my characters and it looked like a normal physical hit. Maybe someone else can jump in and explain it a bit more.
Anyone else have a comment on is Ryoka physical or kido damage?
