I reached level 40 and it's now really hard to get exp, is there a way to gain exp that I don't know?

I would like to know your opinion on upgrading comrades through modify lab. I saw quite some people to have upgraded comrades but for me it seemed ridiculously expensive for that bonus. Like 4 mil silver for 50 basic gikongan, you need both types and i guess you need to exchange the basic ones for the better ones so you need to spend like 8 mil for one lvl which seems ridiculous to me.
