getting strong vanguard...

This is my server EU 207. Vanguard. Have only done UBP once so most stones from Ryoka Event.
!(The other stones on the gear are lower than does shown)! (have 2 6lvl  brk def/1 5lvl brk def)
He isn't as tanky has my Sanji since he has lower immunity, but beta health/attk/dodge/block.
Using 2 70/4 80 gear. Will soon change. Doing his evo. On the second Mod.

so to get vang very strong choose who you want.
Start getting mixed set of gear preferably the lower set should be boot/sword or so.
Thing that are not really important to be strong.
Then do evo and mod.
(komomura)I remember spend alot of free coupons so him to be able to get to his last mod before most people on my server so i can tank most of their attacks and be stronger.
Cause is that i got 'Three Crown King' title.

Personally you can't go wrong with going for Sajin which really he is the Best "Pure" Defense Vanguard you can get from the tavern. Also, to help with HP and such I would recommend to Refine Stamina/Strength/Block onto his gear. Then Spirit Stone Strength, Stamina, Wisdom, Hit Rate, Block Rate, Counter. He gets no boost to dodge so, not cost effective to use it on Sajin really.

Edit: I also prefer Stand fast for weapon enchantment.

i personally like any off tanks in the game so i'd recommend shinji.

Level, increase stamina stones, increase accessory levels to max and increase armor belts to you max level, beat soul map and also upgrade you characters exclusive skill level.
