200% Defense does not = 0% damage taken. Not at all how that works.

No, I don't have to consider upgraded Ichibei. It costs a initial 12k gold investment just to buy this character. The evaluation of the character is whether or not that 12k gold would be better spent elsewhere, in which, in this case, it would be spent better in MANY different spots. Even if you want to consider Upgraded Ichibei, you are still 12k gold in the hole. So whatever you spend on Ichibei upgrading, add 12k and spend it on someone else, and you have a better VG. Period.

You flat out do not need a VG when you run Kirio. Period. End of story. If you don't understand why, I cannot help you, and frankly no one can. At no point was that a exaggeration.

The 12k gold you spend on Ichibei is even less valuable then if you spent it on Kirio. You don't get Halloween points, it is just a flat 12k gold. With Kirio, you got Kirio, a bunch of good free stuff and 100+ mod fragments for free.

Finally, aren't you a F2P player? Pretty sure you have no frame of reference for... any of this stuff. It is actually pretty damn simple at the end of the day, but you keep thinking you are right. The only reason to buy this character is if you like him/want him. There is no practical reason to do so.

My 0% Damage was not to be taken literally, that was to just show how tanky and effective his ability is (ya know, 200% defence is quite the damn lot)
Also if you're going to consider an upgraded partner from another place, why not include an upgraded Ichibe? Wouldn't that be fair? We're talking about the partner alone, not the spending amount, but the partners attributes, what they bring tot he field! Not the damn price!
