In a new server I'm a free player currently ranked 3. In second there is a guy who has a Kido set up and is just melting my Sado how can I get better kido defence.

Step one: Top up
Step two: Play Longer
Step three: Beat him as he becomes less active
Step four: Top up more for end game formation
Step five: Get merged
Step six: Realize how fucked you are because of merge
Step seven: Quit cos you ain't that rich.

Welcome, but honestly there isn't many ways of increasing kido defense except putting kido stones on VG, and in low levels its better to spread them between supporters rather than supporters and VG. And if his kido main melts your Sado, even if you have a ton of defense, it won't help you that much.
