Can we stop opening new servers?

I am on a new server not even 7 days old yet, and already they have opened 3 more servers, there is barely any players left on this server but still they open more. Currently the top guilds stay at the top, no competition in arena at all and not enough people to do events.

So I ask can we maybe get a cap on servers before starting a new one? Or maybe just merge servers a lot more. I am VIP 6 on my server but doubt i'll buy any more gold because there is no reason to (since no competition)

NO. because they open servers everyday and after some months they merge it. that is their way of earning more money. they could ofcourse not do all that by opening up servers once a month but that wouldnt give them as much as they are earning now.

It's their business model and again they won't stop, also we need a merge 2.0 now, the after merge reached its limits
