Aid Rate- Is the chance that your vanguard or whoever will gain an "Aid in battle". Which reduces the damage take immensely, possibly to the point they only take 8 damage.
Combo rate- I believe not completely sure is the damage you do when your skill is activated. Like I said not really sure though.
"Aid Rate" is defense.. example if you triggered aid rate.. the damage you received will be reduced to 10% (100,000 damage becomes 10,000 damage received)
"Combo Rate" is offense.. example if you triggered combo rate.. it will allow one of your partner to do one more attack.. depends the position of your assaulters who will attack next.

For "Aid Rate" if your using 7th skill on your main.. it will affect your entire row of assaulter's. Effect last only for the 1st immediate damage you received.. it will not last the whole round.
For "Combo Rate" it will only affect 1 partner at a time.. exemption if you triggered "Combo Rate" on all of your assaulter's then you have multiple attacks
