So... Break Defence % how it works?

So i like to help people on my server and help with all the questions that i can answer but then i got this question... How Break Defence works? mmm and i was not sure how to answer that is there a math ecuation for it (like in most of games theres always an ecuation) , if anyone have any idea of how this "Break Defence" works i would apreciate the help.

block chance - break defense = effective block chance, got nothing to do with anything else but that. they are exact opposites to eachother. the way percentage is calculated is just add up all percentages. say you have 3 block jades giving 6% block each and on gear you have a stat total of 5% block then you'll have a block of 6%+6%+6%+5% = 23% chance of course there are talents that increase block chance and skills so you'll have to add those too ;-)

Aye, basically its so people wouldn't abuse block rate and put lots of high ranking stones into each hero to reduce most damage.

Here it is in a simple version if you have 30% block and 30% break defense they cancel out so no block,and the talent dont forget about it
