Ah that why you are only getting 500 instead of 700.
Just change the assaulter if hvi is too strong. Even using tavern assaulters clear it sometimes easily.
So try that and dont forget to remove zan. i read that somewhere.

I hope they dont give kukaku for a long time. because if i have to get TSi/ichibe only to inherit in few months then i am at a loss at resources.

But TSi is needed for bonds in so many partners list.
Other hand ichibe is needed to have KTF reward to be fulfilled.....one day i guess.
Also he has high HP and great def.

But only have vits for 1 to take. Was waiting for shy nemu but hiki came out so used on SA.
And now TSi then after ichibe. so i have to save for shy neu if she comes after them.

Just rent Ichibe if it's only for the KTF reward.

Regarding who is better between Ichibe and TSI :

TSI is a great offensive vanguard, speedy and the survivability is not bad, his skill is quite strong while putting the debuffs.
TSI really shines with the EX skill, that's almost everyone's dream to have him even though he is old.
He's like an assaulter placed in the vanguard row. I would have gotten him to replace Starrk if he came earlier.

Ichibe, that meaty marshmallow fucker has too much HP, he may lacks the DEF compared to Kukaku but he just has too much HP, his normal skill (200% DEF to everyone but him and 20% HoT (Heal on Time)) is useful aswell.

You can use Ichibe in void so your Muken can survive the first round at least and attack again for double damage, in PvP however he needs to survive to skill and well... You are already aware the PvP is mostly OHKO up there, lazy to explain lol, the vanguards get shitted with all the mukens around. In short vanguards are cool for void but not in PvP.

What no this one is f2p account but the one adnane gave is vip will start playing that one soon but has no vits staked on that.

TSI for this account because it has muken bond for HP. Also he is offensive VG.
Ichibe because KTF and it seems soon shutara will come in UBP as many people are asking for her so want to complete that set soon. Also he has nice Def. skill and HP on his own.

Hence my confusion what to do?

Hmm will it still consider ichibe as partner if rent timer is over? Wouldnt it be a problem if it asks for actual partner than just rented one.
So basically question does KTF considers rented or not? Or once rented is enough and then even expired partner is considered?

Getting TSI is purely for muken's bond not replacing and losing BP by inheriting Yhwach for TSI as vg.
And ichibe is great as you said but dont void come with T1 monsters now-a-days??

My only question is i can only get 1 partner with the vits saved, so go for this coming UBP or the next one?

No idea about the renting.

Only one monster in void is T1 and they all have 100k speed, they leave the time for Ichibe to skill so your Muken take the T1 damage with the 200% DEF buff, he can easily survive.
Myself I wouldn't go for Ichibe seriously, not a fan, just rent him for Yhwach's bond and done.
