The minimum amount to get him is 21000 gold ( that is without the free spins either ).

Thankfully, you only need 25 of 2 different red stars ( as opposed to 100 of one for Muramasa? lol ).

Most of the RNG will be entirely based on the 50 red stars you need to obtain. Once you acquire those, getting the blues should not be overly difficult, as you need pretty much everything and there are no bad rolls there.

Given those odds, you are probably looking at around 40k gold on average. Considering you could have gotten him for "free" for the same price in the last joint task, that is a bit much for my tastes. If you needed to spend the gold to get Yammamoto, it isn't overly bad, not to mention the ranking event.

Yes. Last time we saw him he was 1150$. He wasn't worth that, but he is worth being essentially "free" if you spend that amount of gold on something else ( such as spirit stones, etc ).

You should be aware that his dot is a burn effect, which will not stack with Barragan or Ulqiorra, but will stack with poison effects ( which is pretty much only Ashojizo ).

Aside from that, he is a absolute monster in the right formation.

t1 shinso -> t1 sexy -> t1 team:  will win all your fights until the opponent gets t1, then it's a very costly level 8 hogu agi-stone speed game
You'd need 130 fury stones to achieve t1 fury with 5 partners

no point getting shinso if you don't also get t1; it's a huge waste of $
not to mention you already have dark rukia =/

for now, getting t1 should be your first goal.
You don't even need shinso for that really, it's nice, but d.rukia would suffice
If you want yamaji for late game lols, joint task is the best time to dump for fury stone packs
