Wouldn't F2p servers be great?

Even just one would be nice where people couldn't top up. Thoughts?

Well , at first it will be nice with lots of people joining , then you will find that the server is
1)laggy cause too many people and too little budget is asigned to it
2) two you will find that while other severs get New Events and Updates your server is delayed due to budget constrain
3) After fighting for a while those not in the top few will leave cause they realize that even without anyone top up they can't get top
4) Just imagine ,Evil spirits and Royoka , being much much slower, after a while Evil spirits will be impossibe to kill
5) The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side thats why there is so many servers

But you know I will really support F2p servers !!! cause that will elminate Free players who complain and whine about people who top up a reason to shut up ( cause they can always go to F2P server to play ) , but not all Free players are that way , so those that remains are probably cooperative and supportive in increasing our server strength.

Then they would have to support an entire free server, which costs tons of money to even host/bandwidth and they get nothing out of it.

I understand what they are getting at, just people don't think about the financial side of it. Even free to play MMO's have money shops. It's to support development and server costs. Technically this is a free to play game as is, as ironic as it sounds.

they would also have to make sure never to merge it with another server otherwise it wouldn't be f2p server anymore and having multiple free f2p servers would cost even more so once the population on that server died the only way to bring it back up is for new players to join it which would be hard to do since new players wouldn't be able to get to top ranks except for beating inactive players on that server

indeed we just like to "Support" them alot ... haha...
For example:
WoW : this is not a F2P game you have to play montly
FF14: you have to pay here too... (Final Fantasy 14 )

Yeo then you got things like Rift, or SWToR, free to play BUT they got cash shops that help you a TON to get ahead.

Good idea, but it is not realistic

There are many downside:
1. No vip function, as you cant top up in f2p server (if f2p server is able to access to all vip function, that will be unfair for p2w players in other servers)
2. No battle skip function, during the event most of the player will refresh the page (log in and out) to skip battle manually, this will cause huge lag or even server down (due to high population of f2p)
3. Players will start to quit at lv70~80 (same as normal server), due to manual janken (you need to do few hundreds, almost thousand if you're in bad luck)
4. Players will start to ask for more (as 95% of the events is either top up or spent gold, you couldnt do these in f2p server, meaning there will be no event at all)
5. Alliance campaign become impossible to do (after lv80, w/o cash player in your team, you're unable to pass lv80 hard mode)

Since there are so many ppl leaving and joining this game everyday (include the cash players)
If you're insist not to spend money on this, but you want to enjoy vip function. Maybe you could ask for a vip account from players who are leaving the game.
