I dont think you understand the concept of being a moderator.
Whether your dealing with kids or adults you need to be unbias towards everything

Personally i treat everyone as an equal no ifs or buts
and you saying "you could always make me a mod to sort out kids that need a time out" shows your too immature for a role like that

Sure if someones abusive to another player punish them but wouldnt finding out the root of the problem first and trying to get the two parties involved fixed first. Heck ive turned mutiple peoples lives around and those people who hated each other and just want to completely ruin each others lives to becoming somewhat tolerable to one another.
What i have learned in my years of a role in a leadership position is that you cant just fix the problems by banning people because sooner or later there will be no more people to ban and it will be just you moderating your own excuse of a forum where no one is happy. There must be an alternative way to help these forums e.g Instead of focusing on these rules and who the mods are we need to learn to live along each other just as we would if were doing it in real life.

I want to come here every day to see these forums full of life not just see every thread riddled with people making these forums useless.

If people have conflicts with one another sure sort it out but in a manor where you go to see two sides of the coin and try to put yourself in their shoes.  That way if it does come to that time where its a ban needed you can safely say he/she blatantly broke the rules and wanted to destroy and make a mockery of these forums we call our second home.

Mods are people who we need to look up to and have a positive experience around thats all im trying to say and i feel as if these rules and how they have been enforced makes u guys look like the bad guys

Which is why i wish to start fresh and these kinds of threads are a way to start

And i think you do not understand.

If two people are abusing each other on the forums then it is important to know the cause of the argument and work towards dispute resolution...but that simply does not change the fact that rules were broken and if there is a zero tolerance policy towards abuse you would expect both players to be banned given that they are both a guilty party.

You talk as if there is a grey area..there isn't, rules should be absolute; you abuse someone; you're punished, you spam; you're punished.

Like i said earlier the rules should enforce a certain standard of behaviour

What im saying is id rather find the root of the problem instead of just outright banning people otherwise tomorrow there could basically be one person on this forum cause everyone would be banned for pointless fights all because of how the situation is handled.

What would you rather
A: Forums completely dead and no point in ever using them again or
B: Forums not dead and where we work towards bettering ourselves to get past our mistakes and make this a better place where people from all races and ages to come to and can enjoy.

Id rather the latter option if u ask me

And as to your rules should be absolute yes there should be punishment but being banned from forums will just create more issues then we already have There must be an alternative to reaching the goals we all want ( A better place for these forums)
p.s Banning everyone cause of people being internet trolls will create the problem of these forums being dead. People need to learn to have thick skin excluding the chidren as they have not matured enough. That Being said i won't tolerate someone completely abusing one person whether it be man or child and yes there should be punishment but no your first option should not be to ban them it should be in a process kinda like
1. Find out why it started
2.Try to see if ifs fixable
3. issue warnings to both parties involved if required
4. While issuing these warning allow them to put in a appeal for these bans if they think its unfair treatment
5.Talk with other moderators on the case ( Review the case and both sides with unbias opinions)
6. If problem keeps occuring move to punishment whether it be minor punishment (24 hour bans and also remind them of the appeal ban if anything seems unfair)
7. If an appeal is made then it should go to another mod and not the one who made the ban and then talked amongst the other moderators to see if a lesser punishment can be made or if that punishment was just for the actions caused by the person banned.
8. After reviewing evidence is given the person shall be sentenced to either keeping the punishment or being set free.

If these rules are to be in place some sort of of action like this one above should be put into place

That also means u guys need more mods for a wide range of opinions on certain matters can be used quite well which also opens opportunities to unbiased opinions and proper and fair judgments.

How old are you? 12? Go to some other game forum and talk like u do here i guaranty you that you will be banned withing the day for breaking there rules. On most forums there are rules from the beginning, a forum admin and mods, which serve to enforce the rules and make the experience better. Gogames have made a mistake in the beginning by not putting up any rules, which is why this forum became a lawless place where everything and anything was allowed, now that we got active mods it seams that some of you just can`t accept that.

gogames had rules just noone bothered to look for them as i pointed out earlier but they had no mods who cared enough to enforce these rules or to come up with a punishment and i believe the point of this vote is to give the players a chance to help out a new mod who has admitted he has little experience in being one and i think he wants to make the right choice by the players and not be a dictator.if you read it most posts talk about the swearing because it is the easiest one to use as examples and the other rules were also discussed such as in his original draft if the rules he said we have to respect him and brah which is what bothered some people he has changed that and its no longer an issue.now i could be giving him to much credit by saying hes trying to do the right thing here then again in the end he could say the heck with what we say and do what he wants (i hope not) but its a possibility

1 To what Brah said and i also completely agree with ThyKing..... i know forums needs rules but if you're saying you cant use words like the F word its just wrong..... for example Brah is my friend if i say to Brah the F word just for a joke or something like that and if HE's not offended then why should i be getting a warning? these words are simple in the society and  we basically use them to entertain/joke rather than offence....and IF someone happens to get offended by these words cause not everyone thinks the same we can just apologize to them..... fights will happen its very simple to fight.....but in the end it'll just go back to normal its just how it goes.....for example- when influ first came to these forums and was being a total jerk ( no offence influ but you were being an jerk ._. ) me, burak and some others had a fight with him, so do we still fight for that reason? no, we got along quite well ....another example- some of you are new here who wont get it but if you guys happen to knew Sakai Riku and Glasglow then you probably knew who they were xD ..... they were arch enemies in these forums but after sometime they got along too.....its simple fights will happen and itll get solved..... all these raging, flaming , swearing, fights etc etc keeps the forum fun and alive..... without these things the forum will die sooner than we think.....all these "Making the rules" "These rules will be enforced" wont solve anything....let people rage, fight and have fun BUT as you are the mod you have a responsibility and also a right ....... so you should monitor that these things DOES NOT ......like two people are fighting and its gotten serius as hell so you should try to solve it..... but if one of them is being stubborn like that vikatmees guy(no offence bro you were being a lil' stubborn then ._. ) the
