REIATSU LIMITING MY ZANPAKUTO ?

i have a shikai zanpakuto ( i started playing 3 days ago) and my reiatsu level is 11.
Every time i try cultivating my zanpakuto, it tells me my reiatsu level is not enough.

Can someone give me a list on how high my reiatsu levels needs to be each time i want to upgrade my zanpakuto? And i have had the same zanpakuto for a while how do i get better ones?

you need lvl 20 for bankai and 40 for hogyo

and how do i get a stronger zanpakuto?

it's 15 for bankai, not 20.
