They should seriously adjust silver gain atleast on higher lvls or everyone except high vip will jus ...
Heres a few Ideas for re-balancing out Ryoka Attack
If a character is able to inflict 50% (or greater) damage to a Ryoka in a single battle, then it locks the death until a second person attacks that now injured Ryoka... (500 HP*lvl safeguard or so)
On my server, it's a constant stream of 1-hit kills made by a single person (Evidently it cancels out the Cooldown Timer for Skip Battle if you can make the kill...) all the way till wave 27...
This is what happens when the #1 and #2 of a server are more than 200k bp in difference and the entirety of the top 20 among a server span from 100-400k
The above fix would prevent upper tier Monopoly, by allowing more of the drops to trickle down into the remainder of the players... Instead of it all going to a select few
While a upper tier player could wait for a wave of players to reduce a Ryoka's health to <50% before finishing it off in one strike it DOES still allow other players to actually get some attacks in on it
Of course, this could also cause a few greedy players make a habit of waiting till it's nearly dead and then one hitting several every day
This could be countered by one of two ways:
A Customisation to the level system of Ryoka: The Ryoka that appear are Half your level plus wave modifier
So on Wave 1 a Lvl 90 player starts with lvl 46 Ryoka, while a lvl 24 beginner would only be subjected to a lvl 13
Then you could attach the +5 levels per wave, but a difficulty adjustment from the get go would't be a bad thing...
Method two involves a simple Kill Limit, Kill ten Ryoka, and hit the limit... and then give them an option to either shell out some gold to kill an additional five or ten...
As for Defend Seireitei, if I attack the Gate, for over 600k I earn 120 points... If I attack a person that will wipe my party in literally 3 hits, I get 240 points... This is HORRENDOUSLY imbalanced
Especially seeing as how it still doesn't equal how much actually DEFEATING an defending opponent, which pays out another 120...
Theres literally 6 (as I type this) people just standing around waiting for one character to appear, where they all spam click his name from the list of defenders, just to be killed, wait the Cooldown timer and repeat... Nobody even goes for the gates anymore...
Not to mention some improved incentive for even participating in this event couldn't hurt...
Attacking Jidanbo should probably give exp and silver similar to Ryoka and Evil Spirit, and destruction of each gate should prize the top 10...
Keep the main focus of the attackers to attack the gate, not the few overpowered characters, and leave the gate full health after 30 minutes... Thats just rediculous...
As for my opinions on Evil Spirit... Well... If people are complaining about the strongest characters killing them too fast... Then again, improving these other characters will naturally improve their experience with Evil Spirit... This one actually seems pretty well balanced...
Overall, if the gulf between elite and regular players were smaller, there would be less people dropping out... I've talked with several guild members and randoms alike that feel that due to the over monopolisation of a few, the many pay for it... There are people so disheartened by this gulf that even among the top 20 players there are a few that have up and quit (Including the #3) and this particular server isn't even two full months old!
From a business perspective, having hundreds of people quitting because of a few Overlording players is detrimental, a closer knit system which will promote rivalry, and most likely an extra Top-Up to get the upper hand against a rival thats just a little too close... Is better
Aside from that, Janken is absolutely absurd... When dumping ten million silver into something, you'd normally expect some return from it... And not just 63/1000 of what you need... Theres several other uses I could have used that sum for and it would have been MUCH more beneficial...
Either the amount you gain needs to be like *10, the amount required needs halving, or a heavy price cut to the gold needed to "Auto Win"...
Quite a slap in the face to hit level 70, be in the Top 20 players on your server, and still have Nemu in your formation... Only to run into a pretty steep paywall "Pay me $4 and you can get 15/1000 to your replacement unfettered!" With the alternative averaging 6/1000 per 1,000,000 silver
Seriously? Whadacrap... Are they TRYING to get people to quit? Making the top ten in each event every day only yields five million, why would they charge six billion for a single tavern character? Thats sheer insanity!
I hope at least some of this makes it to someone in charge... People are quitting, people are losing interest, and it can be easily fixed... And not just a temporary band-aid, like a Server Merge... That actually makes things worse... Adding a new Overlord who may or may not be more Evil than the one you currently have just reduces the growth rate of everyone even further, and promotes even more people quitting... Even in the short time I've played I can see this... |
