Logically should spells that apply buffs and debuffs work if the char misses?

hmm interesting, sadly i dont have anyone that can take advantage of this(except nel) till i get nora ken but thats good to know. thnx

Happy I could help ya out! I like testing all the stuff out when I get it so I can be sure to optimize how I use everything.

this might seem like an idiot idea... but if you have nel on your team and you give at lest Your support Dodge stones wouldnt they be able to get away from dmg the enemy does?  
example:
youroichi With 160% hitrate take away the 50% hitrate from nel's fury attack leaces 110% hitrate if Your own suport have 40% Dodge rate then the enemy have a total of 70% hitrate on Your support.
besides if anyone misses their attack the dont get any fury boost (excluding characters like ichigo, rukia, kisuke, shiso gin etc...) that way you can in a way contro the furygain on Your foes team (in some degree at least)
