[edit] So this started out as a thread about Shunsui's bankai finally being revealed and speculations as to what the hell it's going to be

BUT it's evolved into a WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN NEXT type of guessing-game....so join in, say how you think the manga will end or what you think will happen next, we'll start a betting pool and see who wins in the end haha

Yes but it doesn't explain much...it just goes on about levels, and how reciprocated damage is the first, then some sort of disease the second, and then they randomly end up in an abyss of water...I can't really see the link between the shikai and the bankai yet, because these don't seem to be games exactly? Most other shikai/bankai's have been related

There might be a 4th and 5th level. Other than that I hope to see somewhat of a fight.. would be very disappointing if it ends next week because 1 ran out of reiatsu too fast

Me too...I mean I was expecting his bankai to be bloody EPIC when it was finally revealed, but if all they're going to do is stare at each other in a glob of water until the disease takes over or they run out of reiatsu and drown well...talk about anticlimax :/

And also, seeing as Ichigo and Orihime and Chad etc all experienced the effect of the bankai release, that means they're too close obviously I guess, but does it also mean they are now trapped in the water abyss? Esp Ichigo and his enemy, as they both saw dark skies as well

Also, there's a really dark form hanging onto Kyouraku there when he releases...is his bankai really that sinister?

Yeah they definitely have to show what happens if you're too close.. So far this bankai has been nothing but disappointment for all the hype it had, IMO. I hope we get to see it for at least 2 more chapters

probably a couple more chapters than 2, especially if its going to show the effects on the others as well. It would be pretty interesting if it affected Ichigo's fight
