Filler is not cannon. It has never been cannon. Literally all of the fillers are based of previous design and ideas from Kubo. You wondering why they look similiar ( Which they really don't, by the way ), is like asking why is Ichigo of similar design in fillers. Completely retarded circular logic.

I also noticed the design was the exact same as the filler arc. Also made me wonder if Kubo got the design from that or if he already had their design in mind and gave it up for the filler arc
