Just realized the Halloween event lost all my progress from this morning, and gave me back about half my chances. What happened? Server crash?

i had 2 candies, thinking i'd let them build up till I had enough for the title, went to bed, woke up hours later to see my candies were gone with NO chances returned -.-

Noticed some mod pills gone too, but attempts still used. Seems like a data loss, but only for some things.
