after the isshin nerf i dont suggest getting him. he's still really good just not as good as he was. shinni kensei is a lot better in that regard ^^

I'm sceptical on suggesting Isshin right now but um currently gogames is releasing a lot of new partners around the 12k gold range. Would be wise to wait to see if they release one that tickles your fancy ^^

with Hikifune buff that 50% on your main is perfect, no need get another, use skills 7 with combo rate and most tank dies

Coming from a starrk and hyorin combo user, swp ken helps me (when in enemy formation ofc), in a way that he buys me time, saves my starrk from skill attack and makes him survive long enough to block talent attack and thus whoop enemy team in some times that i even might lose if they'd use diff. vanguard.

As for isshin, he makes things easier also, most of the people of similar lvl as mine are ghost blades, and they use kazeshini or zangetsu, so they distribute their stones between 3 partners. I focus a lot of stuff on starrk, so to conclude when i see extra round i start rubbing my hands, cause the more they attack the more the chance to block also.  So facing guys with isshin and swp is like christmas morning to me honestly.

That's just from my point of view, if i'm not mistaken hiki makes your team inuverable but enemy vanguard can still block and thus stop you. Either use stun vanguard skill or smth, but there's no even partner that stops van. except b.rukia.... Maybe you should wait a while and see what partners come out next.
