So, I'll start with the one I once came up with for a fanfiction. I hardly have any clue about japanese terms and names (where do you guys always get these?) for it, so it''s in english.
Name: Kira and Kari (It's a twin zanpakuto, like Kyoraku's)
Sealed form: 2 Tantos (More a knife than an actual sword, so even shorter blade than a wakizashi) with a Tsuba (hand guard), one with a red handle wrap, the other one with a blue handle wrap. Despite their shortness, they are kept in black scabbards for regular length katanas.
Shikai
Release command: "Spark!"
In Shikai form, the Tanto transform completely into 2 different kinds of Claws. The red one transforms into some kind of oversized glove that begins at the elbow. The back of that ellbow's hand and lower arm is covered in permanent flames. The blue tanto transforms into a claw that consists of 4 parallel blades, attached on a rail, which seems "equipped" to the arm. It has little lightning bolts constantly sizzling around it.
Powers: The red fire glove is very powerfull in terms of physical force. It can crush rocks and break guards easily, but it lacks speed. A punch engulfs the entire fist into flames and shots a fireball. A special technique is the five-stars-flame, that shots smaller fire projectiles from each finger that home in to the enemy in unpredictable flight lines from different angles. It is more suited for clawing/swiping moves than the other claw.
The other claw can summon a lightning bolt, even out of the blue. That bolt usually ends in the clarso the target needs to be above the user, to be in the line of the bolt. The claw can also emit high voltage on contact, making for a convenient counter when blocking metal weapons like other swords. Physical attacks are lower in attack power, but very fast, rapid stab attacks can be executed in fast succession easily.
Weakness: Water. Of course, water puts out the flames of the flame glove, taking it its fire-elemental abilities. While the user is immune to the other claw's electricity in the dry, the electricity becomes just as harmfull to the user when conducted through water.

Bankai
Name: Blazing beast and sparking monster
The user gets claws on both hands and feet, with the elements fire and lightning for the diagonally placed claws (so what I mean is: fire on right hand and left foot and lightning on left hand and right foot). The emitted flames and lightnings get much larger, engulfing about 50% of the user's entire body.
The Bankai greatly increases the users speed and attack power as well as the energy output in form of flames and bolts. All 4 claws get the attack power of the shikai's red claw and the speed of the shikai's blue claw. A special technique is a large tornado of flames and electricity, paralizing the enemy and burning him at the same time.
Weakness: The water weakness remains. Adittionally, the user can't hold up this form very long, because the high energy output is very exhausting. Also, activating the bankai puts the user in some kind of half-berserk state, making him act and attack wildly and primarily out of instinct, leaving him mostly unable to think rationally and reasonable (tho the user can still distinguish friends and foe). This state makes the user narrow-minded and -sighted and vulnerable to strategic movements.
I also have the zanpakuto's spirit and the spirit's world, but since this is not asked here, I'll leave it at that  . |
