I have been debating on hiring Kensei and wanted to know if anyone has him and a battle report I can watch to see what he does.

I would say save for Ikkaku, you would just replace Kensei for him at 80 anyway.

Yeah kensei is just and improve version of Renji. Better just save your reshi till lvl 80 and get ikkaku instead.
