Neither mugetsu or yhwach would work in his setup. The extra rounds he'll get from kensei should out weigh the boosts he'd get from either yhwach or mugestu most of the time.

Replacing Kensei with Mugetsu is just a flat damage boost. 2 Guarunteed attacks vs 3 "Maybe" attacks, with Unohana skilling every turn, and Kirio buffing every turn.
