Hikifune, Kensei and what Skill to use in PvE?

Well... I asked it a while ago, but not entirely sure, still.

My question is:

Should I use Skill 8, put main before Kensei
Or should I use Skill 9 and put main last (so it doesn't overwrite Hikifune's buff)?

ATM I think skill 8 and main before Kensei would be better, but let me hear your toughts.

Not exactly, I still do notably more dmg than him because I have Kensei while he has white ichigo...(tough, he swaps VG for sexy yoruichi and I have to do with shini yoruichi for now).

I just wondered if I'm doing it wrong.
