Yes, his growth rate is lower than Starrks to I believe. I'll probably stick to starrk over Toshiro cause a)Can't top up 20k gold for him and b)Starkk is pretty solid, though I think Toshiros fury ability is amazing.

damn if his stats were a bit better than Starrk I would totally consider getting him. It's not worth it spending all that gold for just 15 levels.

Actually the more I compare the more I say it's not worth it.

At some point he does seem not worth it, but his skill that decreases break defense and attack by 25% is the selling point.
Still, id like to see a longer debate about this

Me to, I'm on the damn line about to get or not to get...that is the question...ive worked so hard on Starrk...ugh.

Damn it.

It's either get him or go 100% fury for me...i'm doing one or the other.

People said toshiro is good, but i kind of really doubt he is THAT good, i mean i would rather see a fully tanky vanguard that can sustain himself, than one who needs healing all the time cause he is squishy and has no self recovery.

It actually depends on the stones and equipments the vanguard is wearing. Plus the buff of 25% block he has, which on my case I currently have max 90% block rate would be beneficial. So the tanking issue would not be a problem if I can block most of the time.
