how to make vangaurd tanky?

i have nnoirta & I plan on getting stark too, so I can switch vgs during hueco mundo.

I know I need good hp stones but that's nothing really.
I'm in the process of finishing up a 2piece 70,80,90 set for the immune rate
for gear, its all in 80's except armor and shoes.
i'll have 2nd mod tomorrow.

or is it impossible to make him tanky?

typicly most people tend to load with 2x2x2, some go for 2x4. It depends on the vanguard. but
( oh shoot i thiink its 2x2x2 for the best known one to use.) Not my place though i do 2x4 due to how much equipment i get  
Most people will say something more along the lines of what equipmant you have. vs how high the stones are. which
both help in that reguard.. Again... depends on char
