I tested it. They did indeed fix his talent. It increases his Wisdom by 20%, but his Agility has no increase.

Nimaiya have better stats cant have so low difference with Kisuke in terms of speed.

It's because your Oetsu is underleveled compared to him, has no speed mod, and Kisuke still has 15% agility talent.

Question is , I mean obviously he's still gonna be of some use, but seeing now as hiki is faster and I already have her modded up and invested, would it make sense going after oetsu now? Or should i just continue holding on to tenjiro (who is almost to his 12% speed mod btw)

The point of Nimaya was to be a heavy hitter imo, so to be honest it's a good fix.
That being said, if you were relying on him to be your fastest partner, you should be looking at Kirinji (he'll give you the 20%speed back after he skills).

There are also other formations where he could shine in: Hiki>Senju>Nimaya (being the best imo)

As for the mods, Nimaya's best mod is his 6th one (it'll take a long time to get but it'll be worth it).. as for evo.. just focus on your Hiki 1st and then go buff up your oetsu. (Kirinji's only use is to buff up your Sp's speed imo)

Don't have Oetsu currently, was planning on getting him and was looking to have fast supports in the back so with this hit in his speed i was just wondering if its worth still getting him. I run a 1-2-2 btw .

Well I'm planning to run:

Hiki>Senju>Nimaya

With this setup, Hiki goes 1st, senju locks 'em down with fury restrict and Nimaya is a finisher.
As for the speed part, it sucks a lil bit but if you manage to get his 6th mod (10%speed boost to all), he'll help you out alot. But then again I'm probably biased + it'll take some time to get that :p
ps: If you keep the 2-2-1 (I'd use either: Hiki-Oetsu or Hiki-senju). Hiki-senju for Op'ness BUT if your opponent has a strong VG, you'll need either Oetsu/B.rukia for an easy kill
