my t1 tsi destroyed dordoni and cirucci
just couldnt beat aizen 1v1 lol so instead i used tsi as a meat shield and let my other partners kill their formation without the fury bonus lol..

Ichibe!

There's a lot of reasons to pick him over the other two:

His Talent increases Wit,Str and Stamina, he gets a +25% Def Mod (5) and his Skill gives def to assault+sup for one round and recovery. So he's great as defensive VG. In theory, he could actually be good in Hollow Soul map, if you equip him offensively.

He has a fortify with Katen, not a good one, but better than none.

He's cheaper.

He has a bond with Senju, giving her bonus atk... and there's no way you'll not go for Senju at some point if you buy Katen.

Demon Ichigo has fairly low stats/growth by comparsion and he doesn't have stun resistance. Might be just me, but given how "useful" my main char is, I'd take the stun skill if I face a Demon Ichigo and would rely on it.

TSI just doesn't have the defensive IMO... with Tensa, yeah maybe after some rounds ... but with Katen I think he'll just melt.

So... imo Ichibe is the way to go. IF you really dont want him for whatever reason, TSI would be the 2nd choice. Demon Ichigo falls off too much in stats IMO.

I dont have a high lvl ES/Ryoka to test Ichibe against them, but from what I see so far I don't think you need a VG for ES/Ryoka.

From my understanding, Ryoka don't level up relative to the server, meaning any progress you make goes 1:1 towards doing better against Ryoka and at some point your Server just wont have that many strong players to keep the Ryoka level increasing further.

ES seems to level with some weird formula, but not to infinity... I'm playing 2 chars ATM, my 2nd has Hyorinmaru and Chad atm while being lazy with upgrades etc. I made it only a few weeks ago, so it's WAY behind on that server. Yet, our lvl 103 ES does hit for like 5 dmg on Chad. Even at more than 20 lvl, the dmg my VG took was minimal and leaving out hyorin's buff, avoid injury wouldn't cause 5dmg hits.

Also, I think using a VG would drop the dmg so much from a PvE Build (with combo and so on) that it would cost more than 1 round in relation.
