they had nothing else to spend on, they spent what they could on what they saw which weren't even partners (so pretty much anything that was gold purchasable)

Hollow map
Hell even Genji style and go drain it all on cooldowns, whatever!
you had gold to spend to get to VIP 10, they spent it on whatever

The 'clever' back then pretty much only spent it on: High lvl stones and hollow map

i really don't think anything else would have been great

but prime example: Paofui (Noob), server 32 on US, he's oldschool and spent his money wisely, you can see where he ended up after so long lol (hasn't bought anything ever since pretty much)
