You have to make it to 100 points first, before you can use i click. Like i said, passed the 100 point mark, so when i 1 clicked, it just repeat the same pattern. Hence no point

3500 = 2000 extra points + 1500 gold spent which are also points (At least they usually are)

no i don't thin you get points for using gold ..... it doesn't say that anywhere, plus Didn't you read what sylncer and Forever Uzumakia1 wrote ? my calculations were correct, it's 7200 gold top up for 16k points( actually a litte bit more since you have to clear it manually for the first time and it takes 1700g so it's 7700 gold, thats IF i didn't fuck up somewhere .... which i think i did .... probably ... don't trust me now i'm too sleepy to talk maths
