Question - partner stats

So on each partner's detailed character sheet, it has a section with 4 stats that differ whether it is a Kido or Physical based attack partner.  The 4 categories are either; Physical Attack + Physical Defense + Strategy Attack + Strategy Defense, if the partner is a physical attack type, or if they are a kido type they have;  Strategy Defense + Physical Defense + Strategy Attack + Strategy Defense.

So my question is what the hell are the extra stats for?  For example, on a Kido partner, if you remove a Wisdom stone, it will lower their Strategy defense in the right hand column, and of course lower their strategy attack, but the strategy defense in the left coloum remains the same.  Likewise, on a Physical based attack partner, if you add or take away a wisdom stone, it will affect their Strategy attack.  Also, on a Kido partner, if you add or take away a Strength stone, it will lower/raise their "Strategy Defense" in the left column.

So from what I can gather, the right hand column is truly a characters Strategy Attack and Strategy Defense.  So my question is two fold, first is what is the Strategy Defense section in the left column for?  and Does Strategy attack have any positive effects for a non-Kido based partner?  I added pictures to illustrate the questions I am posing.

1: strat def in left column is actually phy atk. Just one of gogames' many typos.
2: the stats do absolutely nothing right now. Maybe in the future we'll see skills that use a combo of the 2 attack types, but for now the non primary attack stat is superfluous

Pretty much confirms exactly what I thought on both topics.  Thanks for confirming.
