You guys remember that time i posted about toping up a bunch instead of upgrading my PC, well.
i upgraded my PC and this is the result.


CPU: Intel I7 5820K
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Seidon 120v Rev 2
Motherboard:  MSI X99A RAIDER
RAM: 16GB's of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4
GPU: MSI R9 270X
SSD: Samsung Evo 840 120GB's
HDD: Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 1TB
PSU: Corsair VS650 650 watts

Notes:
The HDD is from my old external harddrive that i
butchered and then built in to my PC.
Upgraded everything except my GPU and hard-drives last December.
Total price at the time of buying parts: €1300/$1460 *

Planning on upgrading my GPU soon.

If higher than gtx 980 you have to get a better psu also. 980ti requires 750+

True, but atm im thinking about going for an AMD R9 390/490 when that comes out.

But then again i don't aim to play games on my workstation, yeah i could easily build a absurdly high end pc to do what i need but i can't 1 hand carry it and put it in a small case that won't break my back trying to lug the thing to my offsite events and gigs lol.

True that, but the minimum requirements state that the 390 can be run on my system
They have become a little bit more power efficient recently
(Not counting  the fury X xD  )
