the price is different for different partners.  Think Rent a Center.   Say Shinso.  He's 20,000 gold to buy him outright in the event.  Throughout the time you rent him, once 20,000 gold goes into him, the counter goes away and he's yours forever.   He is 200 gold/day,  or you can pay 480 gold and get him for 3 days, or how i pay for him, he's 840/7days.  If you rent him for a day, you can later pay the 19,800 extra gold to have him forever.  So his price is 20,000 minus the total amount you've already paid in rent.  sadly i believe B rukia may be next on my rent to own list      don't want to get into that kind of payment if i'm honest

I actually really like the concept of this event then. Currently sitting on 20K gold from a rebate. So may have to sit on it longer until that event comes around. Does it have all partners that one can get from events or is it randomized?

First off,  the event is the most expensive place you can get the partners in the game, do not expect to get a good deal on them.  Second, not random, not all event partners.
