Can vg dodge status effects?

As the title says, when characters dodge, do they ignore status effects such as stun, fury restriction etc.?
If not, does dodge only dodge damage or does it do something more than that?

As far as i know,no,he/she gets affected by status effect whether he dodges/blocks

Only dodges physical damage, so actual attacks

Another question, does ulquiorra skill that gives 50% dodge and nel skill 15% dodge stack on the VG or not? I am a bit confused over that.
