What other compensation could they give

we play the game for free, and servers being down is something available to all, so they can't give specific rewards to certain people dependent on their status in the game or whatever

silver/coupons/vit is a fair reward, and those are the rewards you obtain daily; you pretty much make up for the loss time, which is what server downtime does, makes you lose out on time in the game

i really have no idea what other reward would be fair and not too stupid. If you're thinking gold then that's quite stupid xD ^^
