If anyone has experience with the game, would you mind giving a run down of it? The game looks really interesting, I'm glad they are coming out with an EN version of it. Still really curious how the VIP system in NO operates though and how events are handled.

Ok.

There is a pay system. You can buy "gold" for money and use it for various things. There are "Packs" in the game, such as Hero/Item/Pet packs that allow you to attempt to summon heroes. You get a free summon once every 24/48 hours, then you can also use premium gold tickets to summon whenever. You can also use gold for the vitality system, premium items, and stones. There is NO VIP SYSTEM though.

Here is the thing though. You can farm most heroes in the game. Most of the "OP" heroes, you can get easily without paying. Most of the "OP" pets, you can also get easily without payment. The Premium Items are so expensive ( IIRC like 150$ for one item, and thats CN pricing ) and they aren't that much better then proper items of your level ( Maybe 10-20% better ).

The game revolves alot more around strategy. Each hero has a Main Attribute ( Wind/Water/Fire, etc ). They are a paper-rock-scissors system for damage. Skills have combo abilities, so you need to build a team that synergizes. For example, Naruto has a Knock up attack with his clones. Sasuke has a Combo that procs off knock ups. So when Naruto does his attack, Sasuke will do his, and Sasuke's attack also knocks up, etc. You can chain combo's like this, and Pets in this game are basically additional combo linkers.

Here is a good example of combos. static.video.qq.com/TPout.swf?vid=h0198bcedxi&auto=0

Max Level is level 100. At the beginning of the CN Version, the game was wicked easy and everyone hit level 100 fairly quickly. They since made the game quite a bit harder, but we aren't sure which version we will be getting.

There is a bunch of PvE content to do every day. Some events that they have are only limited by your playtime. For example, the Anniversary event they had allowed you to literally farm stones all day. There was no limitation to how many times you could do it. Stones, are like stones here except they are flat values, and I believe they only go up to level 6, and they are relatively easy to acquire.

As far as heroes, You increase stars/rarity color just by progression. The game is designed around you have 12 heroes at your disposal ( Some PvP content allows you to field 3 seperate teams of 4 members each ). It gives you plenty of materials to keep your ninja at max level. The only real barrier is 5 stars, and thats the one you need to be sure you want to use that hero. There are different versions of heros. You need to upgrade/collect certain heroes to unlock the ability to farm other ones. There are IIRC 5 Naruto's. Gennin, 9 Tails chakra, 9 Tails Bones, Sage, and Rikkudon. We haven't seen Rikkudon yet. You could literally use any one in a max level team and build around them. Some people use sage, some use the 9 tails boned, etc. Even Gennin Naruto is useful.

There is no real CC in the game. There is some, but it is few and far between and usually only hits one target ( Tsyukomi Itachi sleeps with his regular attack, seen in video ). Most of the CC is status effects, decreasing attack/defense, dots, etc.

Of the main characters, Wind is considered the strongest. Earth the weakest.

There are a handful of very popular characters.

Tsyukomi Itachi is popular in the formation in the video. His Tsyukomi allows him to dodge a certain percentage of attacks, making him a very good off tank, with combos and sleep.
Son Goku ( 4 tails Jink ) is one of the most popular tanks at late game. He is fire attributed, has a Fire dot, and a AoE special.
Hanzo is a back line character with Poison dots and AoE special.
Preta Path Pain is seen in the video as well and very popular. Has shields and cleanses. That is the one that absorbs ninjittsu in the anime/manga.
Gaara ( Both versions ) are very good tanks with special that hits hard ( but costs 80 chakra ) and has good combos. His dad is also good, he was in the video, he is less tank, but hits a bit harder then Gaara.
2nd Tsukage is also a good tank.

As for starting out, I would suggest building Team 7 ( Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke ), which is basically given to you at the start of the game. They have very good synergy with eachother for a LONG time. I would suggest starting Wind, Lightning, or Fire.

For PvP there is General PvP, there is a PvP Gauntlet like HM attack, that allows you to field 3 teams and get as far as you can, and there is team PvP, where you and 2 teammates fight 3 teams at once. Everyone is on the field at the same time. For the Group PvP and some other PvP, it is in REAL TIME against active opponents. Only the Arena, and Gauntlet are auto. There are PvP heroes every month for pvp ranks, and they are pretty easy to get. You can casual and get them.

You also get ALOT of coupons for collecting heroes. There also appears to be FUND events,  like Unlimited ninja, where you can put gold in to the bank and get stuff back every day. Coupons can be used for everything in the cash shop at the EXACT same price as gold.

Thank you for that wonderful write up. Sounds really interesting! I'll probably go for Lightning/Fire just for looks. This game sounds more and more interesting.

I will likely be covering the game extensively via videos and guides. The game is basically everything I personally hoped UN and Bleach online were going to be. It also has a legit backing, so those shady business practices should not be a problem.

First piece of advice would be to watch as many videos as you can, especially in the CN forums.

http://huoying.gamebbs.qq.com/fo ... mdisplay&fid=52

You may not understand much of it, but you can get a good sense of what people are doing at endgame with formations.

Second piece of advice would be to take anything Scion Storm says about the game with a grain of salt. His videos cover the game decently, but he has no idea what he is doing in regards to progression/team formations/combos. After all, this is the same guy who has consistently gotten Bleach character evaluations wrong, and this shits in english.
