My Mayuri has around 420k pdef and when he uses his skill he gets another 30% and he also has the mod that gives 5% per round.  He is a vanguard pretending to be an assaulter.  

The only thing I think might be bugged are his mods, the defense doesn't seem to add up every round and the poison doesn't always work.  He at least had a fairly good amount of poison procs that fight.
