Should Yamamoto be stacked as the main assaulter forever now for f2p teams, an irreplaceable character?

I have Byakuya next to last evolution, 5 stars, full gear, but he's nearly useless now. (Level 103). Should I replace him with Ikkaku to make a combo with my Yama then? (Main Ghost Blade). Zanpa: Kazeshini.

with red tavern soon you should keep byakuya for uprade him and take yama as 3rd assault

What you mean upgrade him? The red tavern won't be released, that's why they are selling all red partners for $ and not red reishi.

And as a f2p, if they ever release the red tavern, it will take me MONTHS, maybe a whole YEAR to get a single red reishi partner.

If you have Byakuya, then i would say that you should stack him and keep him instead of Yamamoto.
The strongest f2p player i have ever seen uses a fully modded tavern Byakuya, his dmg is incredibly high and he is always top 5 in void region vs people that are VIP 8, 9 and 10.The reason for that is that his Deathmod is OP as fuck if you stack him enough xD
