Does Bankai Rukia's death effect (200% kido damage on vanguard) ignore defense ?
Also, if a partner dies from RJ's burn, does-it activate his death effect (of any partner, not especially B.Rukia) ?

The death skills with always activate unless the partner dies from the initial direct attack from the zanpakuto. They do not bypass defense.
