I need help!!

Hello my name is Jason. I just started playing. I am stuck and trying to find help on why/how to get out. I am in the tavern. It is asking me to 'Select Janken (Sissors! Paper! Stone!) I tried to click on where it says Janken (both blue and purple) with the response of that I do not have enough silver. Currently, I have 70K silver, 29 gold, and 541 of what ever the diamond after are. I have no skulls and I have recruited Nemu. I did not know what I was doing, I was trying to get past the area and it seems as if I've painted myself into a corner. How do I leave? (It doesn't let me leave, as I have not finished the requested mission.)
