I made tavern Yachiru gold, she is not able to do inherit. Tavern partners are also partially bugged when trying to switch gear with the Exchange All button. A tavern purple to gold partner will not be able to take gold hogus with Exchange All, but you can manually equip them. The same thing with tavern gold to red partners, they can use red hogus if you manually equip them.
which purp partner are you trying to inherit? most of the time the purples have gold equivalent at a higher lvl which would be better to use your time to get
