i'm running Noza, so Hyorin is a huge deal for me...  but i'd never go for him in UBP unless I was ...

Senbon is better than Hyorinmaru if you have 3 assaulters vs 3 supports with Hyorinmaru, like Hyorinmaru doesn't boost anything but vanguard and gives supports speed and in fight it only boosts vanguard while Senbon boosts assaulters 10 times better than Hyorin does.

and that's where I disagree, looking at prices you could tell that demon ichigo is on pair or even ...

I just meant the monetary value they have just using Demon Ichigo as example since he was in upb recently, like even if it was 10k for Demon Ichigo it still woulda been stark difference, I just don't think getting zanp is worth at this point unless if its Tensa Zangetsu or better.

As I said monetary value has no meaning for f2p, it's just about what is useful enough and what's not and getting zans like hyorin or senbon is IMO 100% worth since, besides expensive zans (tensa and every zan which came out after him), they are best ones, at least for vanguard stacker (and being vanguard stacker is IMO best tactic in this game) so it would be a shame to skip it and keep using kazeshini if someone want to stack his tank, don't you think?
Btw what do you mean by saying tensa zangetsu or better? Tensa is best zan which can appear in ubp and I highly doubt even in that.

As a f2p, I think that Hyorin is the best for a pvp setup since you will go full tank. Besides that, Hyorin can attack all enemies, which is a good one. But this would make my team to have 10k less speed and damage.

Indeed, it's great for PvP but for PvE rather useless, about lack of speed and damage, well, for vanguard stackers speed isn't that important and while vanguard's damage is lower than for example yama's with assaulter-focused zan it's still big enough and well-build vanguard can survive long enough to make up for lower damage just with his survivability and amount of times he can attack
