Is the other guy worth it?
He has a unique ability that can be crucial in some formations. He does take a lot of effort to make work though. You need him to be faster then most controllers. You need to capitalize on having immunity to debuffs, which generally means you want to run a 1-3-1 formation. You need a strong 3rd assaulter, which probably means you are going to end up spending more on someone like Isshin.
He is a difficult character to put into a formation. If you had access to a strong supporter, like Shinigami Urahara who is probably going to kill enemy supports ( and if not Shinji's aoe would finish ), then there is little need for Shinji's protection at all, aside from some Assaulter controllers, like Isshin. You could use a buffer support, and just make your immune assaulter team that much better.
His ability looks like it clears non-zanpakuto debuffs, and gives you the skill 4 buff. Not sure what all the skill 4 buff stops, just says immune to control. In which case pairing him with Isshin and maybe a fury buffer might be the best way to utilize him, in order to ensure he uses him skill more often to clear any debuffs ( stupid nel ).
Either way, 130% all hit on a Agility talented character is pretty good. A speedsters all hit team could be fun as well. |
