How to rent Shin Isshin twice during event?

So people are saying you can rent him twice per event because he's only 5 candies to rent and you get 10 from the event, but you can only rent him for the first time after 5 days once you have 5 candies. You then have him for 7 days, which means by the time you're able to rent him for the second time the event already finished.

So bottom line: can you actually rent him twice per event WITHOUT topping up or really just once?

Forget about Karakura Town Event, Ishin is USELESS for F2P and any player below Lvl110, unless you are on a new server below lvl 50 he'll be of no use for F2P!

rent him first when u reach 5 candys, then press the rent button in karakura event on last day when u have 5 more and voila, u haz rented hez azz "uno mas"

Why's he so bad? I'm lvl 130 VIP 4, I just don't top up anymore. Who else would be worth renting for 10 candies or less

lol thanks for clarifying, wasn't sure if you could rent him again before his previous rental period had run out ^_^
