Is mugetsu outdated?

With all the new arrival with twice basestat of mugetsu and basically the same price range(20k-30k). do you think he is worth it right now?

why bother with mugetsu when muken is free ? sure it can take some time but hes well worth seein as u consider wastin gold on mugetsu

Don't buy mugetsu if you don't use tensa(just my opinion). It's better to use the 20k gold to buy TSI. Koga costs lesser than mugetsu where you top up 15k to get koga.

my line up right now is tsi isshin brenji main kirinji, with tensa.

Both yes and no. Mungetsu is still quite decent and well rounded partner, but should be 10-12k at best. I just dont see him superior to Koga whom you can grab for 15k.

Mugetsu, most of the early golden event partners like Dark Rukia, Shinji Hirako, Zabimaru Renji, Sophisticated Rangiku, Smart Nanao, Shinigami Yoruichi, Shinigami Urahara and most of the SWP Partners (only Noza and Aizen are still good) are outdated.

Or you can try renting him by using candies only, and buy him at a much cheaper price.

Even aizen is outdated at higher tiers. Noza is only relevant bc you can stack him like mad.

For mugetsu don't spend money on him. If you have him use him or if he pops up for free, but for his price there are much better assaulters at this point in the game.

who voted yes most likely tryin to troll ya, first off to make full use of mugetsu u should also have 2 decent suports as mugetsu's special gives combo rate to suports, yes he has aoe dmg, yes hes red meaning t12 hogus, but even so, between shin isshin and brenji, u whould lose quite a bit of dmg and quite a decent amount of combo rate which is quite hard to come by unless lots of vit spent in evo.
better yet consider koga, hes faster than mugetsu, easier and cheaper bonds, good in both pvp and pve and very nice mutilate death mod, not to mention the self regen fury for non stop skilling
at this point in time and game, id say koga is better to consider than mugetsu and if u actually have the will and patience, just aim for muken and use the gold elsewere rather than mugetsu which 8 peeps atleast seem to think hes still op and not in the least outdated
