neither, better get tavern byakuya, make him red and slowly work to get hes exclusive skill, exclu skill + hes death mod will net ya better gains in es/ryoka/void which in return will help you do better in pvp.
it may take you some time to get byaks exclu but on long term is payin off unless u plan to topup for a better assaulterwell, hes death mod is gonna work in void only and pvp, in ryoka and es not so much, but in es/ryoka use hes exclu skill

I agree with you, his exclusive skill will be getting better a lot and can surpass tavern kenpachi or any other "non-regen fury" pve partner, even byakuya's damage rate might be lower.
