IMO any effective vang needs block rate....  and save the gold you will get from bankai power and pick up a Hyorinmaru or Senbon to get the most out of your vang...  good luck with the build bro!!

i  think i will go for senbon, he adds not only Vanguard but gives Speed and Damage To Assaulters, Hyorinmaru gives Apart from Vanguard he gives only Support Speed, Hyorin = PHY Def , Kidõ Def , Max HP. Senbon = PHY Atk, Speed , Max HP.

While you are right, you must also look at this...  with a well stacked vanguard your middle row will naturally be weak AF, but you can still have some decent partners in the back row...    Senbon is for sure the faster of the two, but Hyorin shows MAD love to vanguards and still lets supports have some level of speed
