block reflect damage and reduce the damage you take . max the block from mods . take ukitake for the bond (block 13.8%) + from max evo 19.85%. if you are abit lucky and hit 8% block and you want to keep the stun mods i think you can hit the 163.65% block rate

block and break defense are against each other
counter and crit are against each other
Hit and dodge are against each other

that is why dodge stones are so crappy, 200% is easy to get with hit, but very hard with dodge...  while 300% is very doable with hit, and I don't think it is with dodge
