Looking for some Advice

Hey guys, bit of a newbie and wanted some opinions on a few things in game.  As a reference, my server is now a month old, and I just hit lvl 89 with 53 reiatsu.

My current formation is Kirinji, Kisuke, Ikakku, Kido Main, and Toshiro...currently switch Toshiro out for Shin Grimmy during events.  I am currently focused more on pve than pvp...first row csb is enough for me
I looked around the forums and have a general idea of where I want to go, but wanted to ask a few things and get some input.

1.)  Once I hit lvl 90 in a day or two, I was planning to get Kenny to replace Grimmy for events.  However, I don't plan on upgrading him so is his slightly better growth and 300% skill dmg + block buff every other turn yield enough dmg output over Grim's 170% every turn plus extra depending on fury crits to justify recruiting him?

2.)  Since I'm still new to events, will day 6 of Reio Gaurdian have the cyclone set for 5 points again, or does it vary each event cycle/was a one time mistake?  Was planning on getting my last 2 advanced sets cheap there, but if they permanately changed the cost would it be best to wait until treasure box and get 2 sets for 3000g + extra stones and other resources?

3.) My server started during the recent Hiki UBP and Seireitei Atk.  I'm not a huge spender so I figured it would be best to focus on several Seireitei Attacks first before going for a UBP partner or zan?  Unless maybe Tensa pops up...Yes I'm planning on switching over to Red Stark at lvl 100 (he's one of my favorite characters) and figured Seireitei Attacks and Tensa would be the best overall to support him and the rest of my team in pve and pvp.  Also, comparing stats to Tensa and the fact that Jakka is a thing...is there a chance Katen Kyokotsu will ever be added to UBP or is the shield+Crit boosts too stronk for that to happen?


4.) I may not be a huge spender (use a rewards site to top up small amounts when I want, because screw using money earned through actual work), but I could still manage enough to rent someone from limited lease to permanately use...I probably wouldn't top up anything once I get my last 2 advanced sets outside of monthly shinigami agent anyway.  The only two that seem managable and worth it for me are Rajin Yoruichi or Yhwach.  I'm leaning more towards Yoruichi because her bonds are easily accessible and eventually I'll get Muken who would 100% replace Yhwach.  Guess I answered my own question between the two, but are there any not so obvious hidden gems among the rentable partners that I could consider...outside of renting for bonds of course?

5.)  That being said I still need a solid assaulter until Muken once I start to focus on pvp.  When I'm ready, should I go back and recruit/upgrade tavern byakuya or just tough it out with ikkaku until  someone like B.Renji pops up in UBP?

6.) Also, gained the potential to upgrade rank to 5th Captain where it starts to cost you 5k prestige daily.  Should I just continue to up my rank normally, or bank prestige for 2-3 months until I can get to something like Zero Division for the damage rate and avoid injury rate to be more noticable?

7.)  Was recruiting Harribel a good investment since she earns 26 mod frags daily which I can eventually use to inherit for universals?  Also, is it best to inherit at mod 4 or wait until max modify level is reached?

8.)  Soul Cultivation - Should I put an extra 5 - 7.5mil silver daily into it or am I still at a point where I should continue to focus everything on reitsu+gear enhance.  Also figured I'd clear the stones first then exclusively get exclusive frags right?

9.)  Wish I searched forums about protection stones earlier because I just found out today that buying one permanately protects all your gears of that level .  In other words, for 100g I can now easily max infuse all my Aquarias and firelord gear without resistance .  Are there any other little game mechanics like this that I might not have realized ?

Yes, also he's worth upgrading if you get the free red reishi from Witch House event.

Alright sounds good.  I'm actually sitting on 800 red reishi, was going to save it for Stark but I guess lvl 100 is far enough away that I should just upgrade Kenpachi right away?

Yeah there's a good chance you will get more red reishi from an event before you pick up your Stark.

Right so you seem already set generally so that's great, apologies if any of this is already answered

1). Yep, Tavern Kenpachi does indeed outdamageGrimmjow in everyway and assist your team much greater in PVE than Grimmjow. Somewhat debatable on his second form but Kenpachi is more reliable and has more potential due to the now new red partner system where you can make gold tavern partners turn red; increasing growth rates and base stats and the ability to equip red items like Tier 12 (Warrior) Hogu etc. so Kenpachi's future is definitely greater than any form of Grimmjow ^^

2). It does seem to be a permanent fixture so you can expect the gear to be there at 5 points ^^ The rewards don't seem to vary ever until some sort of universal update is given to all events where they all need some kind of push, which has probably effected Reio Guardian maybe once or twice ever, they only got such recent changes so it's fine to depend on it to stay the way it is for now
Spending so much for a set isn't the best option as you can obtain quite the lot more for 3000 gold, or simply saving it is a much better choice when it is just for upgrading advanced sets. Patience is a nice aspect in this game so if you can try to focus on that then it'll help a lot ^^ Although the extra resources would be nice alongside the gear on a new starting server, compared to Reio Guardian it is definitely not considered the best option xD

3). MY BOY IS GETTING Starrk, AND RED, YOU'VE WON THE GAME ALREADY YOU DON'T NEED HELP <3 you're beautiful

Unfortunately UBP is in a state of progression now where it's able to bring in quite huge figures in there, and they aren't to miss out on, especially when it looks like they aren't backtracking anymore, a.k.a doing repeats as they'd rather slowly progress with better/different characters instead. I would recommend Seiretei Attack (SA) usually do to the fact that it gives you rewards in every department of the game, meaning a huge overall upgrade, however I would only recommend this now ONCE you've finally obtained a good, "final" team you're willing to stick with and not change for a very long time, as missing out on UBP has now become much more of a huge predicament than missing out on SA ^^

4). The limited lease section does indeed have "hidden gems" but they're verrry specific to certain formations and they aren't exactly made for general formations, and general formations are much more recommended to build rather than stat specific ones as they give you an edge in everything, and can give you a general idea of how you should be playing game; really it's just the best idea to follow when starting on new servers, unless you already know that you'd rather follow your WANTS than NEEDS, then ye just go ahead and get whatever partner you want ^^ An example of a hidden gem would be someone like Shinigami Kensei, who's only usage comes in PVP, but not just PVP as a whole, but for those rival fights where you need a confirmed edge in victory, and i really mean rival fights like 50/50 win ratio

So Yoruichi would be your best choice in terms of a support you will keep for late game material, the others do give up quite as much as she could offer from a general perspective, your other best bet would be partners like assaulters like B.Renji, but seeming as though you're already planning for Muken Aizen, this doesn't need to be an option unless you want a heavy PVE boost until the day you obtain Muken ^^

5). Oh there you go, B.Renji in UBP helps. Ofc this isn't something to rely upon, as earlier stated due to you not knowing who comes in UBP, and B.Renji has appeared multiple times so who knows about his status. However if you don't mind inheriting stats for a partner to get rid of them once they are over and done with, do obtain Tavern Byakuya, he can help in PVP with his death mod and overall insane damage and can be helpful PVE if focused this way ^^
If inheriting is an issue then I would simply wait it out with tavern partners like your Tavern Ikkaku, it won't be so much of a harm sticking with him, especially since he's already great in PVE/PVP ^^

6). Save your prestige, in new servers you can easily dominate or fall behind and you'll never know your position. Unless you are indeed a confirmed top 1-3 spot in arena, then go ahead and keep ranking up to stay up to date with stats, but if you aren't so sure about your position or you don't compete in arena so much, then i'd stack the prestige until you can get something like Zero Division titles as you mentioned

7). She is great only if you're able to sustain that amount of gold spending just about forever, and wait until final mod ^^ Your Kirinji also helps with modify fragment farming due to being able to obtain free Kirinji fragments from the Shinigami Agent daily/weekly rewards if you have that ^^

8). You don't need to spend silver on it so early, only do this once you've had everything else up to a nice amount (a.k.a high level gears, reiatsu etc.) so you aren't just spending silver on progressive small upgrades that maybe permanent. Yep do stones first, I would only focus on exclusive fragments first IF you actually need one of your partners to have their exclusive skill, emphasis on 'need', meaning you cannot progress further or you might be stuck facing predicaments without it ^^

9). Ah that's an unfortunate find for you xD honestly can't think of any small mechanics like that which could be huge, so it's quite difficult to remember them unfortunately, apologies for that ^^ :/(apologies for the long read :/)

You seem set honestly! You know your position and it seems like you can deal with it too, not much general tips to give other than make sure your decisions are clear and long term, never focus on short term especially in a new server as they can be your wrong doing with a simple decision made, just be sure to always take it to the forums or ask someone in PM's for decisions like you asked here. But yea it just seems like you're doing great, not much to say other than answer those questions ^^

If you aren't going to upgrade shin grimmjow into pantera then it's worth to get kenpachi (he is not only stronger but also it's easier to swap gear between him and vanguard )

Rewards are same there every time unless they do big reroll so it should be there. In case you won't get them/they will be removed you can get them either from csb (will take a lot of time for you but you won't need to use any gold) or get them from that event (tbh I thought that 2k for set is cheapest price, didn't know you could get 2 of them for 3k gold , be sure those are right ones tho since you can't upgrade sets under lvl 100)

Katen is still best zan for PvE (excluding void) and very solid for PvP as well (even if it can't compete with RJ) so it's IMO nearly impossible for now but it probably will happen at some point in time but doubt it will be anytime soon.

Limited lease is gone tho . It got replaced by karakura festival, not 100% sure but I think that all partners rentable in limited lease (+some new ones) are there but you will need to top-up to rent them first (and later pay off them with gold just like in limited lease), however I don't think it's worth it as getting partners by rent is more expensive than getting them in other events, for example if I recall correctly raijin's permament price is 50k gold but you should be able to get her for 30k and in one special event she was even for 20k, so better stack gold and wait for event where she is cheap to buy her at once rather than keep paying her off as it's pretty overpriced way to get things, before getting her it's worth to rent her once tho as that way she will be at your lvl

Getting byakuya wouldn't be bad idea since thanks to his exclusive skill he is good for both PvP and PvE and thanks to death mod he is also great for void but it's not necessity, actually before getting muken you can treat assaulters as characters only for PvE . In my server before muken there were no strong assaulters for PvP. If you can get some vanguard-friendly zan (hyorin is the cheapest) then I would advice you to focus on vanguard and make him your main PvP force (without neglecting raijin if you get her of course) while others will be mainly for PvE and change it once you get muken.

Unless you really need that extra stats (or partners slots) I would advice you to wait with upgrading rank until you have enough prestige for mugetsu, that way you won't only get boost that this rank provides faster but you will also get pretty neat title a lot faster.

Both harribel and urahara are best for farming mod frags (tho at this point you probably need urahara for easy T1) so getting both of them is indeed good idea , about when to inherit it's pretty much up to you, no matter if you will inherit every time when you hit 4th, 5th or 7th mod at the end of day gain of mod frags will be the same but if you will wait longer you will have to use inherit less times and it will be cheaper that way so my advice is to wait until 7th mod unless inheriting earlier will give you enough frags to upgrade somebody's modification

Whether you can put extra silver to SC depends on your income, if you can do it without neglecting reiatsu and gear enhance (would be good if at least one partner has all parts of gear maxed out whole the time and all your weapons are maxed for PvE) then why not?about order of getting SC rewards (assuming that you don't need any partner from there and you may consider getting cute orihime for PvE)  it should be lvl 10 stones>lvl 11 stones> lvl 12 stone>exclusive frags (endlessly)

1. Register without partners at first day of csb season to be place at lower ranks and have easier wins.
2. In Tournament of Throne last bracket is only for reincarnated people, this bracket is for strongest people in your realm (or rather with highest BP) so if you don't feel like one of them better don't reincarnate and enjoy rewards from previous bracket, being not reincarnated will put you at disadvantage against reincarnated people but possible rewards in ToT are more than worth it
3.On your current lvl it doesn't matter but once (or rather if) you reincarnate you can inherit reincarnation of your partners, so in case you are already high lvl and get new partner (muken let's say) rather than slowly getting his lvl up you can rent some cheap partner from karakura festival so that he is your lvl, reincarnate him and then inherit, you will need to spend 50 gold and you will lose quite a lot of reincarnation stones but you will get great amount of exp books which will let you lvl up your new characters a lot faster
4. When recruiting someone from swp instead of losing reishi you gain some so don't stop until you catch them all
5. When your reiatsu lvl is multiplicator of 11 there is a lot bigger chance for major critical hit (instant lvl up)when using reiatsu cultivating pill than on other lvls, I'm not sure if it works like that after reiatsu lvl 100 tho
