Ah right then yea you can ignore it, if enemies are heavily involved with speed around you then no point, so you can ignore all that at the bottom there, just go for that Hiki T1 ^^

I love my mugetsu though. He has about the same speed as Oetsu. About a 15k difference in speed. I need to fortify ryujin more, but I'm not good enough to beat the harder difficulties. Just easy and hard.

Well making Hiki T1 will make your Mugetsu do a stronger skill attack with a 50% buff once he gets T1 alongside Hiki, so he will shine there ^^ and he'll get an invincibility buff too so his survival is ensured to activate that skill
She will progress you though which is the key, Mugetsu will do the same but while he directly progresses you by himself with his high damage etc. Hiki will progress you by assisting your team making you overall stronger, it's quite the matter of choice here ^^

If you reallly don't want to let go of Mugetsu so soon though, you could try him out defensively. Now not exactly defensive but just making him a bit more tanky with defences and HP to go alongside your Ryujin zanpakuto, as someone stated earlier it will make him quite unkillable if you're able to do this ^^

fortunately Mugetsu has great base stats to work with so you can easily pull this off with focus onto him, and this defensive plan is very long lasting, you will find high level players doing the same thing everywhere as they use Ryujin too with a stacked partner, mainly assaulter.
Although they do indeed do this with Muken Aizen found in the Inferno Shop in CSB, you can still pull off similar results from early game all the way to late game without Muken, as long as you have a focus on assaulters and equipping Ryujin, so those harder opponents you have will definitely struggle against such a team like yours if it worked this way ^^

my best advice and prolly quite important Do Not reincarnate, just keep farmin the shiet outta ToT, get kisuke and harribel to speed up the modify on oetsu, you could use hiki death mod to make oetsu t1 but that whould require some tweakin on her def/hp which could be meh, so i say again, put all the speed stuff on hiki, focus mod on oetsu and give him some extra def from accs/hogu/hogyo/stones,
the speed gap between you and those folks will go down really fast once u get btoshi which should be ur priority apart from hiv, btoshi>hasch
for zanp com dont worry for now, u will need t1 main aswell to complete the nightmare mode

im just sayin, dont fall for the reinc bonuses which even tho are good, in the long run u lose more from ToT than u gain from reinc, extra red hogyo frags+ extra exclu, the more the better, easier to get exclu skill

I mean, we are all free to our own opinions, however bases solely on my own CSB, as that is where 100% of all my usable experience comes from, it takes a lot of money to hang out in the top of your CSB with no vang...  you need not only top notch partners, but blistering speed, insane attack power, maxed tier 12 hogus, fantastic mod souls, everything...   just because you purchased top tier partners and spent a lot of money on the game in no way grants you instant access to the top my my CSB at least...  I wish the best for him for sure, but just watching how he's doing it, makes me think he has a lot of mistakes to make before he really gets the hang of it...  (no offense to anyone here, trust me, I've fucked up more times that I could count)

ive fucked up plenty of times, like getting a lvl 12 stamina hogu, ehancing it once, and then realizing i have a convert coupon to change it to speed. Thankfully I got another one later, and it's level 6 now... But still lol
