How do SWP partners stand compared to tavern ones ?

I'm mostly interested in how does Pantera Grimmjow stand compared to the lvl 80-90-100 assaulters .
Now for the moment I have a Red Ikkaku main and a renter Isshin ( which i plan to replace with Pantera ) for the support im running red kisuke and taver rukia upgraded to gold , close to getting rukia t1 , the rest have 0 fury stones on them .
Now I plan to keep Ikkaku rukia and kisuke and want to have something to put up when im done with paying isshin .
My thoughts were either tavern kenpachi or pantera grimmjow . I did some quick maths and grimmjow does more damage then kenpachi but i still have some questions which i would be happy if someone would be kind enough to explain to me .
First off
1. Do i need to buy shin grimmjow from swp and then upgrade it to pantera (150 more coupons ?!) or i can buy pantera directly
2. Pantera has a 3.2 development on str compared to 3.1 of kenpachi but red kenpachi goes to 6.2 , how much will this affect kenpachi's damage and will that make it better than pantera ?
3.Can i upgrade pantera somehow so his development increases ?
4. Is it worth to wait for Pantera Grimmjow ( currently level 83 need 17 more for pantera but only 7 more for kenpachi , i usually get a lvl per day since im second at both ES and Ryokas on my server )

1.Yup, you have to get shin grimm first then upgrade it with 500gold reishi/150 grim coupon.
2.Screw Tavern Kenny, you can swap out grimm when you hit lv110 with Tavern Uryuu.
3. Nope.
4. It is. Don't waste your gold/red reishis for kenny. For PvE events(ES,Ryoka) use 2-3-0(no VG) formation with 8th skill.

I think your formation should be like that for events; Kisuke, Rukia, Ikkaku, Main, Grim.(left side Ikkaku, center main, right side grimm. so Ikkaku can get extra turn.)

I see , i was kinda hoping someone would say take tavern kenny hes better , since he is damn easier to get , but ok ill make a run for grimmy .
Silly old me only has 150 coupons for him so it will take me around a month to get that much but it will probably be around the same time as my lvl 100 so won't be much of a problem
As for the skill im putting all on 9th skill currently since it seemed more viable to me is there much of a difference ? I'm oneshooting up to wave 15-18 .

Yeah, use 9th skill if you have shin isshin. Isshin's skill gives combo rate so, no need 8th skill.

I'm using 8th for ES, 9th for Ryoka without shin isshin.
